"Three years ago my mom called me stating that she could not get out of bed due to hip pain. Within a week she had hip replacement surgery and was in rehab. It was obvious that she would not be able to live alone any longer. The search was on. My wife and I looked all over Northern VA to find the right assisted living type facility. On a tired afternoon in March of 2015, after having looked at a number of places, we had one more facility to visit, Vienna Manor. Honestly, we were tired and nearly cancelled the appointment. Upon entering the facility, which from that point forward was just referred to as the house, we knew we were in the right place. The house was beautiful, the staff was professional, and the care/services provided to each resident was/is unmatched. Their formula of having only 8 residents in the home assured us of the kind of care we were looking for. I can honestly say that Vienna Manor saved my mom's life. She was distraught at the idea of not being able to live at home and had all but given up. She later told me that "this isn't home but it is as close as you can get". She was also quick to add that the food is amazing. Thank you Vienna Manor for being there when we needed you and providing outstanding services to families in need."
